Wrong Way Of Contacts

LEVIATEMPS Maxime Chattam

We are in 1900, the Exposition Universelle in Paris in full swing ...

Guy Timaeus is a young writer who broke with his family, his past, finally reaching its hidden possibilities, exploring the most monstrous nightmares. He resides in the attic of a brothel, having promised the owner not to "touch" to his daughters.

One night Milaine, one of them is found outside the door, dead, oozing blood film.
Guy, with Faustina, her best friend, will embark on a thrilling and terrifying investigation into the Paris slums to find the author of this crime, which unfortunately will be followed by others, equally dreadful attacks also prostitutes.

Chattam has beautifully capture the atmosphere of Paris in the early 20th century, with its shabby neighborhoods inhabited by ghosts of forgotten people "properly", not to mention the World Fair, where we lost in the different stands, in which we meet unknown people brought there for the glory of colonnisation ...

This album is the first volume of a new trilogy Chattam way, we will take in April 2011 to read the second!
